Our words we speak are another tool we use that helps create our life's circumstances.
We frame our world by the words we speak.
God spoke things into creation and they formed.
Some quotes I found on the power of our words:
"Words are the keys to the heart."
"Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs."
"Words are chameleons, which reflect the color of their environment. "
One of my favorite parts in the book, "Jesus the Christ," was about this very topic of our choice of words... The Pharisees were offended over eating some food with "unclean" hands... Jesus explained how food is but temporarily in the body and doesn't matter as much compared to the utterances that issue from the mouth. For "those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man."
Our words truly show the place and condition of our heart and thus build upon its foundation.
